Customer wanted the white washed hand rail to match the stain wood floor. Instead of stripping the white wash hand rail. We cleaned the hand rail and primed it. And custom tinted a high quality flat latex paint to match the back ground of the stain floor. Then put a black glaze over the flat latex to highlight the grain as well as add a little more coloring to the hand rail. And finally, Three coats of latex clear varathane. This product is non yellowing and last much longer than regular oil base varnishes.
